Yes, we do need to cleanup JIRA. The project is currently in-between
sonatype.org and eclipse.org infrastructures, so hopefully the cleanup
will happen naturally as we move bugs to bugzilla.

No. We used 0.11.x versions as checkpoints between internal
refactorings, but did not officially release them.

The most/only user-visible changes are the use of maven core 3.0
embedder and the new http transport layer. There were several small-ish
bugfixes I can't even recall, but majority of work was internal
refactoring of the code.
3) Where can I found instructions about installing the staged 0.12.0 version and then adding the extensions (wtp, scm) and the extras (svn)?
Recently released m2eclipse-wtp 0.11.0 is compatible with m2eclipse-core
0.12.x as far as I know. Other non-core components have not been updated
as far as I know. Anyone interested to take over the maintenance of these?
