Re: [kura-dev] permanent deployment package deleted

Hi Dave,
I have now updated to the lastest Kura (1.1.0) on the Rasbian. Using the procedure you describe, the first boot after including the .dp file works fine, but I can see that the file has already disappeared from /opt/eclipse/kura/kura/packages after being successfully started.

So the problem has remained after the update.

Happy new year to you.

regards
john

Hi John,

How are you installing the deployment package? Did you happen to try the steps here [1]? If you have tried these steps, in particular the last section, and it is still not working let me know.

Thanks,
--Dave

 Hi,
we are currently testing the permanent deployment of packages (.dp) on a target. The target we are using for the test is a raspberry pi running kura-1.1.0-SNAPSHOT.

The package starts successfully, but it is immediately deleted from the folder after starting. The folder /opt/eclipse/kura/kura/packages, in which we have copied the .dp file appears to be recreated when kura starts.

Can you please help us with this?

Thanks for an excellent product.
