Hi Ravi,
we were discussing
about the plugin mode check a while ago. Bug “[Bug 296017] RCP-mode does
require name "AgilPro"” now describes the problem and the
solution that I already committed to the code. In the future, each application
should not include the word “agilpro” (which of course does not
make sense), but the three letters “rcp” (which can easily be added
to each product name stating that it is a rich-client application).
For the future, I
started an own bug which includes the requirements for an own extension point
for products as we discussed recently: bug #296088.
Please feel free to
add any further requirements to this bug. We will work on it in due course.
Best regards,
Florian

Betreff: [jwt-dev] Plugin mode check
Hi,
The plugin mode check done by GeneralHelper has been hard
coded for “agilpro” as below:
if
(Platform.getProduct().getName() != null
&&
Platform.getProduct().getName().toLowerCase().contains("agilpro"))
//$NON-NLS-1$
{
return false;
}
else
{
return true;
}
I’m trying to integrate JWT with my
RCP app and unless I have “agilpro” in my product name the
“workflow editor” perspective opens up the “Package
Explorer” view which fails. In JWT 0.5 the code checked for “eclipse”
in the product name which seems to be the right approach.
So, how do I get around this in JWT 0.6?
Regards,
Ravi
