Re: [jwt-dev] WG: Release Review for JWT
|
Hi Florian
Great news, congrats for this topping all the hard work you and your
team have been putting in to achieve this step, now there's still the
last one but hopefully it'll go allright !
I'll attend the release revuew meeting with Guillaume Decarnin and
Mickael Istria, who has newly arrived on the team for the duration of
his internship (more about him in my next mail).
I very much like the previous version of your tutorial / user doc and we
already have put it to good use. Now I didn't now about the grid for
diagram aligment stuff ;) We'll try to do some more detailed read &
feedback, I agree this is an important companion to the expected JWT
tool download.

Hi all,
this is just to inform you that we will have our first release review
for the JWT Workflow Editor on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 5pm CET. I guess
that's great news for our project! :-) I would be happy if some of you
would join me in the upcoming Telco. I will forward the Telco
information as soon as I receive them.
I am also working on some documentation about how to install and use
the workflow editor. Please find a draft version on our wiki at
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Java_Workflow_Toolbox_Project#JWT_Installation_and_Usage_Description.
I would like to ask you to have a closer look at that document and
provide some feedback, because I would like to upload a modified
version of that onto our Eclipse project page as soon as the release
has been approved and JWT WE is available from an Eclipse update site.
Best regards,
Florian

Hi Florian,
You could have your review on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at 8am PT / 11am ET /
5pm CET. Will that time work for you?
Since your release number is <1.0, it looks like this review is not a
Graduation Review (out of incubation) but would be a Continuation
Review (staying in incubation)? (See this diagram
<http://www.eclipse.org/projects/dev_process/development_process.php#6_2_Project_Lifecycle>.)
If that's the case, you don't need to have your IP Log approved;
you'll just need the review slides.
The slides need to be finalized by Wednesday, Feb. 20. It sounds like
you will have a draft soon for us to see; just send those along when
they're ready. Thanks.
See you at EclipseCon!

Hi Anne,
I would like to ask whether you could organize a release review for
the technology-subproject Java Workflow Toolbox (JWT) and its
component Workflow Editor (WE). This is the first release, it will be
available under version number 0.4.0. Our project is still in
incubation phase.
I will send you our release slides in due course. It would be good to
have the release still in February since I'm off in March (e.g. at
the EclipseCon). It there is anything else I can do, please don't
hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
Florian
