[jdt-dev] Providing quick fix to resolve usage of default encoding

Hi,

This is to check interest in the community to have a cleanup to resolve usage of default encoding.

Usually it can cause issues when relying on methods or parameters from Java 1.0 and 1.1 that have not been designed to take into account different encodings.

Such a cleanup you can vote for in https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=572739

In https://openjdk.java.net/jeps/400 some of the issues are explained that arise from using api relying on default encoding.
