Hi Gayan,
Latest and greatest(?) always updated at https://wiki.eclipse.org/JDT_Core_Programmer_Guide/ECJ/Parse for parsing (thanks to Stephan Herrmann for initiating this).
This will give a comprehensive list of methods for parsing. [This of course is a subpage of parent- the doc for jdt -https://wiki.eclipse.org/JDT_Core_Programmer_Guide
However, if you think there is a gap in the documentation, it would be great if you can add additional info here so that its clear for everyone.
