My intent was not to trouble the current contributor. Note that I did start a separate thread exactly to make a distinction between the discussion I start with the goal of making the project easier to contribute to in the future, and the actual request for support, for while I just let more competent people answer.

Sure,  I let you do that on the other thread where the question remains "how do I set JDT environment"; but getting this answer is not the scope of the current discussion/thread.
