[jdt-dev] How to extend JDT's search Menus?

Hi,

I’d like to extend JDT’s Menus by adding menu items for searching remote code repositories, e.g., for finding references or declarations of a method or type).

While I was able to extend the main menu search entires, I wasn’t yet able to modify the Java editor’s ‘search' context-menu. Does anybody know if/how an external plugin can do that?
