thanks for the quick response.

 

I already signed the ECA agreement (my username is tdumitrescu668)

I just need a little help to clarify the paperwork situation but for this purpose I'm going to have a call with @m.reza.rahman in the next days.

 

I just took a quick look at the list of task within the issue #804 and it seams to me that everything its already assigned except the bug "Resource matching: algorithm looks rather weirdly formatted" and "What do we do with references to JSRs? [EJB] Use spec. Name and version number of the specification instead".

 

From the second issue I understated that we need to replace every references to any JSR using the convention "specification_name, specification_version_number", am I correct? If this is the case I'd like to start from this simple task.

In general you can simply pick any of the open issues from the Github tracker and tell us which one you start working on.

 

In particular it is highly appreciated if you could start by fixing the open issues mentioned in this list: https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/jaxrs-api/issues/804. Simply tell us the issue you start workin on, and I will register it for you (to prevent others from duplicate work).

 

For the farther future you can find our roadmap here https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/jaxrs-api/wiki/Roadmap, so you can understand what topics we will focus on in which time frame. Also please sign the ECA first, as mentioned in https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/jaxrs-api/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md.

Hello,

my name is Theodor and I'd like to start to contribute to the jaxrs team.

 

Could you please let me know what is the current status of the project and how I can help?

I think that a good start would be helping with the package name transition and converting JCP specification documents.

 

I can contribute around 7 hours per week.

 

I'd like to be involved mostly because I really love the reactive extension with RxJava. Therefore I'm mostly interested in this subtopic but I'm willing to help in other ways too.
