Re: [jakarta.ee-spec] BALLOT: Approval to release Jakarta EE Platform and Web Profile 9.1

Correct!  I just posted a similar comment to the PR:  https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications/pull/372#issuecomment-831907971

I will make these updates right now.  Since nobody has voted yet, maybe we don't have to restart the vote?  We can discuss at tomorrow's Spec Committee call.

Hi,

Note that the Ballot end date is Monday, May 17.
(not Friday)

I am holding the PMC vote at least until after the Spec Committee call on Wednesday, May 5.
There are at least three items on the PR that need to be addressed:

- Remove TomEE from the CI list on the Platform page (it is correctly listed on the Web Profile)
- Add ManageFish to the CI list on the Platform page
- Update links to the WildFly artifacts used for ratification (WildFly Preview 23.0.2.Final). They currently link to the general /downloads.

Greetings Jakarta EE Specification Committee and Community,

I need your vote to approve and ratify the release of Jakarta EE Platform 9.1 and Jakarta EE Web Profile 9.1.

The JESP/EFSP requires a successful ballot of the Specification Committee in order to ratify the products of this release as a Final Specification (as that term is defined in the EFSP).

The relevant materials are available here:

https://github.com/jakartaee/specifications/pull/372
https://deploy-preview-372--jakartaee-specifications.netlify.app/specifications/platform/9.1/
https://deploy-preview-372--jakartaee-specifications.netlify.app/specifications/webprofile/9.1/

Per the process, this will be a fourteen-day ballot, ending on Friday, May 17, 2020 that requires a super-majority positive vote of the Specification Committee members (note that there is no veto). Community input is welcome, but only votes cast by Specification Committee Representatives will be counted.

The Specification Committee is composed of representatives of the Jakarta EE Working Group Member Companies (Fujitsu, IBM, Oracle, Payara, Red Hat, Tomitribe, and Primeton), along with individuals who represent the EE4J PMC, Participant Members, and Committer Members.

Specification Committee representatives, your vote is hereby requested. Please respond with +1 (positive), 0 (abstain), or -1 (reject). Any feedback that you can provide to support your vote will be appreciated.

Thanks
