Re: [jakarta.ee-community] [microprofile] Re: We need more Jakarta Tech Talk speakers
|
Hi All,
first of many thanks to Altuğ and Amelia for raising the topics
and providing suggestions!
As Amelia pointed out we set-up the Jakarta Tech Talks as
Meetups- so the link for now is this
https://www.meetup.com/jakartatechtalks_/
I will work with our team to ensure we consider the you tube
channel and make it accessible from the jakarta.ee.
Best Regards,
Tanja

Youtube channel would be great. Thanks Amelia
Hola
Altug, Tanja and Community,
Altug,
your wonderful follow up enable me to notice that it
seems that the Jakarta EE Project still seems to be
missing its very own Jakarta EE Youtube channel for past
and future relevant Tech Talks hosting: link of the
meet-ups here
https://www.meetup.com/jakartatechtalks_/
First
thank you caring enough to ask for those videos.
Tanja
and EF Team alongside with Jakartees who might have
other/extra feedback,
Can
the project future tech talks be housed under its own
channel?
If
not, what is your reasoning for keeping it under
the EF youtube channel? AND how does choice makes
knowledge sharing for Jakarta EE scalable and focus on
the project itself?
If
yes, can the Jakarta Youtube Channel-feed be
automatically linked to the Jakarta EE website under
Resources Tab?
Example
of a successful import that requires no human action
after INFRA link: MicroProfile Resources Tab direct
click brings viewers to channel:
Lastly, can the Tech
Talks
Meet-ups be linked directly to the Jakarta
Resources Tab?
#sharingISscaring
means we show betterment via open channels. If any other
Jakartees see other things that the project could
adjust, please do submit them via the Jkta git issues.
This time, I am using this thread b/c above
recommendations are now an extension of original follow
up.
My
goal with this follow up feedback is to continue to keep
all sources for Jakarta EE under its very own website so
that ALL information is found easier under 1 website.
Cheers,
How can we reach those valuable
presenatations ?
Many thanks Amelia and everyone else!
See my responses in-line.
Best,
Tanja

Hola
Tanja & Jakartees, Happy &

#sharingIScaring
via Tech virtual sessions under
Jakarta EE are a truly fun way to
continue 2019 learning/teaching Java
fun.
I have 3
recommendations:
- move
the current document under the
Jakarta EE Community drive
LINK. THAT includes adding
all the other documents that are
about Jakartees' collaboration.
Why? B/c some of us don't need to
go to the Jkta forum's archive to
find important links. Expecting
such documents to be housed under
the project's public Gdrive should
suffice. :) See below drive
content for reference for those
not yet aware of its existence
and usage in 2019.
[TO] The
spreadsheet document is already on the Gdrive
at the exact link above the Jakarta EE
Community
drive LINK.
- Tanja
would you consider a
valuable addition to the sheet to
include also the Presenter's
email hyperlinked
to facilitate your follow up,
when needed? As it is, how do
you connect with speakers who
are not known yet?
[TO] If the
speaker is willing to share his email that
would be great, otherwise they can contact me
directly by email.
- Twitter/Media
Jkta push scheduled for the rest
of 2020 via weekly
reminders of this Call-2-Action
that welcomes anyone around the
globe to participate.
I would
appreciate that and will suggest the same to
jakarta marketers.
As a listener
consumer of a few of the
tech talks in 2019, I thank each one
of you thus far
involved, looking forward to
listening to the many new
speakers alongside the usual
ones in the 2020 series.
Hello Jakarta EE and MicroProfile
Community,
I hope you have been enjoying the
Jakarta Tech Talk series as much as I
have. There are so many topics we
should be covering, so please consider
this as a call out to sign up and
present! Once I see your name on the list,
I will get in touch or please feel
free to contact me directly so we can
set it up.
Many thanks!
Tanja
