Hi everyone.

The European Commission's DG CONNECT is gathering industry feedback that will influence its innovation programs in the 2025-2027 timeframe in the area of Cloud-to-Edge-to-IoT. You can give your input until April 30.

DG CONNECT launches an _expression_ of interest to contribute to and invites everyone who wishes to express their visionary perspectives on the future of the European research and innovation programmes 2025-2027 under the above areas, looking at new ways for managing the Cloud to Edge continuum, capturing new trends like from MetaOS towards MetaWeb, for industrial IoT towards a Metaverse@theEdge, for radically new Software Engineering Challenges or related big game changers.

The Foundation will submit its ideas. Feel free to provide input on your own or share your ideas for inclusion in the Foundation's proposal by replying to this email.

First Round Results

On behalf of the European Commission’s DG Connect, we would like to thank the dozens of organisations, initiatives and individuals that have submitted their _expression_ of interest (EoI) for the work-programme 2025-2027. First results will be announced on April 26 in relation to the EoIs that are selected by the Commission to present on May 11, in Brussels. Submitters will be informed by email.

Second Round Launch

After a great response from the community, the Commission has decided to do a second round of submissions, with deadline until April 30.

The Commission looks forward to receiving your visionary perspectives around Cloud-to-Edge-to-IoT for European Data!
