[iot-wg] Adoption of latest changes to Eclipse IP process

Hi list,

during the latest meeting of the IoT Working Group PMC we discussed the
number of CQs that have been created lately by the projects governed
under the IoT top level project.

Our gut feeling is that this number has decreased significantly over the
last few months. This is good for the PMC members as it means less work
reviewing them :-)

We also wondered what the reason for this decrease might be.
One possibility is that you guys have simply reduced your pace in
working on your code and therefore do not need to introduce new or
update existing dependencies. However, we do not really believe so and
thus the other possibility seems to be much more probable:

You have actually started to adopt the latest changes to the Eclipse IP
process as outlined by Wayne on his blog last year [1] :-)

It would be really great if you could reply to this mail and drop us a
line indicating if this is indeed the case for your particular project.
We would, of course, also be interested in any feedback you have
regarding the new process and how it helps (or hinders) you in your work
on your project(s).

This way we will have a chance of knowing if we need to invest more time
in educating our community about how to take advantage of the new
(simplified) IP process.

Thanks a lot for your help!
