Re: [iot-wg] IoT IMR Project proposal presentation

Michael,

I also would like to invite you to ask questions about our project on this mailing list or on the forum thread mentioned below. We at Bosch appreciate any feedback and also any questions since we believe that this project can only be successful when a large community works together. Of course this is an open project and non-Bosch-internal.

The webinar next week is also intended for giving an overview about the proposed project and for discussing the approach. The same is true for the
forthcoming Unconference session (https://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_Unconference_Europe_2014) and the talk (https://www.eclipsecon.org/europe2014/session/iot-information-model-repository-presented-bosch) at EclipseCon.

I'm looking forward to your feedback and to your questions!

Best regards

Olaf

Michael,

I am hoping the details will be discussed during the webinar we are planning for next week and also a face-2-face discussion at EclipseCon Europe.  Of course anyone is free to ask specific questions about the proposal on this mailing list or on this forum thread https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/817545/

btw, Bosch has also just published a blog post about the proposal http://blog.bosch-si.com/categories/technology/2014/10/your-feedback-eclipse-iot-open-source-standardization-project/

I believe the Bosch people hope to have the first code drop in November 2014.

Regards,
Ian

OK, so we will need to wait until the first contribution to drop to see the details?

Is it a Bosch internal project?

I'm trying to figure out how to connect this with the other activities around IoT data models.

Thanks,

Michael

Hi Ian,

Is there any technical information that I can review in the meantime?

Thanks!

All,

Unfortunately, we will have to reschedule the webinar we had planned for Oct 8 to discuss the IoT IMR project proposal. I will send out an email later this week with the new date and time.
