I have finished my work on a gemini-blueprint version with Spring 4.2.4 - please see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=488009 for details. For me, all integration tests are green and I would personally consider this eligible for a release candidate. Please feel free to clone & test the changes (https://github.com/olaf-otto/gemini.blueprint/tree/488009-migrate-to-spring-4.2.4).

Sure. For early integration of Gemini Blueprint 2.0 with Virgo I created 2.0.0.M03 in September and uploaded the milestone to our Virgo mirror. To do so I followed more or less the instructions in the Wiki: https://wiki.eclipse.org/Gemini/Blueprint/Building.

Meanwhile I created the necessary CQs for Spring 4.2.4.RELEASE.
