Nice figures, Dennis! I can only dream of such download speeds :-). My connection is limited to about 5MB/s by KPN.
Hi Bert,
I get:
Germany - University of Erlangen-Nuremberg
~12 MB/s
Germany - University of Applied Sciences Esslingen
~45 MB/s
Theoretically my connection could go up to 62.5 MB/s (500 Mb/s).
Regards,
Dennis
Thanks Dennis for the tip. The first and third links now perform the same: download speed hovering around 1.0 MB/s. The second link (I tried Uni Erlangen and Uni Aachen) both hovered
around 2.3 - 2.4 MB/s.
So the second link clearly outperforms the first and third links. Indeed, the link I used on 29 Sept, when I reported the 115KB/s download speed was the first link.

Hi Bert,
Dennis
Works fine on macOS Big Sur. Download speeds on Mac hovering around 115 KB/s. I am used to low download speeds on Mac. I think this is mainly a Big Sur problem, but even on Windows,
download speeds ranged between 100 and 250 KB/s.

Hi all,
I just released Eclipse ESCET v0.3-RC1:
It would be great if you could test the release in the coming two days. Then we can release it on Friday, if there are no blocking issues.
Regards,
Dennis
