[equinox-dev] Re: [p2-dev] Problem to Unistall Plugin in eclispe3.4

Hi,
This is because this plug-in should be uninstalled using Update Manager.
If it is not too indiscrete, could you please detail what kind of things you are doing with the install handler?
Thx

[p2-dev] Problem to Unistall Plugin in eclispe3.4 |
Hello,
We have created plugin in eclipse 3.3 with having source for Custom Install Handler by extending BaseInstallHandler API. After creating plugin we are able to install and uninstall it properly in eclipse 3.3. But when we tried to install in eclipse 3.4 with new feature p2, it points us to old update manager this is because of Custom Install Handler and install it properly that is ok and not a problem. But while uninstalling it in eclipse 3.4, we select plugin in “Install Software” tab of Software Update Manger but “Uninstall” button remains disabled. Is this because we used Custom Install Handler while creating plug in or something else?
Please provide suggestions to figure out exact problem.
Thanks & Regards,
Hardik Parikh
