Today it's pretty likely you have to migrate your 3rd party jar into an 
osgi bundle.
Because of that its quite common and there are plenty different ways:
Actually you "just" need to inject an osgi friendly MANIFEST.MF so you 
"export" the packages you want to export from the jars.
Because this is the equinox mailinglist i would refer to the build-in 
capability of eclipse:
--> new project --> plugin development --> plug-in for existing jar archives
(remember, bundles are osgi bundles)
