Ok, but you realize that the workflow required to use MAT is much more invasive than what is proposed by IntelliJ, which is directly integrated with the debugger.
IMO, what is proposed by IntelliJ is much more inline with the "All instances"  / "All references" features that are already available in Eclipse and may just need a bit of polish and publicity.
