[emf-dev] Fw: [eclipse.org-planning-council] Beginning of the Ganymede schedule and must-dos
|
Component leads,
I would encourage you to sign up your components to be part of Ganymede.
Obviously I've already signed up EMF, but I'll leave it to EMFT component
leads to sign up their own components if they feel they can meet all the
Ganymede must do's. We're hoping to have a more coordinated modeling
distribution this year, kind of like the EE package but for the Modeling
project stack, so if you want your component to be part of that, it really
needs to be part of Ganymede. If you are reusing the common build
infrastructure, which I think all of you are, you can rely on that
infrastructure helping to address all the must do's...

Planning Council people,
I've put up a wiki page for Ganymede:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Ganymede_Simultaneous_Release
If you want to participate in Ganymede, please add your project and contact
information to the table.
The set of requirements will be revised over the next few months through
discussion (here on the list). Let the discussion begin!
