Re: [emf-dev] Supported XMI schemas?
|
Lasse,
EMF supports XMI 2.0 / EMOF. Anything else requires a translation. You
should check the Eclipse UML2 project as well at
http://www.eclipse.org/uml2/. Also see the EMF newsgroup for more
discussion on this topic.
Frank.

Hi all,
I've been looking into available tools for code generation from UML
models (namely AndroMDA and Jamda) but none seems to cover both the XMI
schema produced by Poseidon and the one produced by Rational Rose (both
the XMI version and the OMG UML namespaces are different...).
So, the question is which XMI schemas/UML tools the EMF 2.0 release
supports and is there any near-future plans for extending that support?
Thanks in advance.
