Hi Vano,Both of these
projects (ejb and jsf) are in the middle of updating their rather large
specs. If you have some asciidoc experience, they may welcome some
expertise in that area. As a first step, we need each of the Specs
to be functionally equivalent to the Java EE 8 version of the Spec but
updated to reference Jakarta EE instead of Java EE. Then, each Spec
needs to be updated to use the jakarta namespace instead of javax namespace.
Both of these projects have broken down their Specs into chapters.
Not sure if they are tracking this effort via an Issue or just PRs.
But, you could clone the repo and build the Specs and see what state
they are in. I would definitely post the respective mailing lists
asking about a potential work item before digging in (to avoid duplication
of effort and frustration).Beyond that, both
of these projects will need assistance with their respective TCKs and Compatible
Implementations. The EJB implementation is part of the Glassfish
project, so you may want to get involved in that mailing list as well.
The JSF implementation is part of the Mojarra project, so subscribe
to that one as well.I know both of
these projects could use some assistance, so thank you for volunteering.
It may take a little bit of querying on the multiple projects to
figure out your niche, but don't give up. Both of these projects
have great team members!

I heard you participated in last week's Platform call. Thank you!
Your note below mentions the "platform", but you sent this request
to the "ejb" developer's list. Are you specifically looking
to participate on the EJB development team? Or, are you looking to
participate on the overall Platform? Or, maybe you are interested
in other Jakarta EE technologies? The complete list of project mailing
lists is here: https://jakarta.ee/connect/mailing-lists/
We can continue to have this discussion here on the EJB mailing list until
we figure out your interest. Thanks!
