[ecf-dev] ECF Hangout Proposal: Tuesday, Jan 14 1700 UTC/9am pacific

Hi Folks,

At the last ECF Hangout Thurs, Jan 7 [1], we were unable to get through 
all the things that we needed to discuss, and so I propose that we have 
another short meeting *tomorrow* (Tues Jan 14) at UTC 1700/9am Pacific.

Lots of great stuff happening with ECF these days...e.g. we've got a new 
remote services provider that uses MQTT for transport, we've got basic 
interoperability between Python <-> Java, and Javascript <-> Java for 
remote services (and will be doing more), and we're making additions to 
ECF's remote service implementation to support OSGi R6 spec work (that's 
going on right now).  And we're doing feature-level refactoring [2] to 
better support releng and usage of various parts of ECF (for server and 
other non-Eclipse use cases).  We would like consumer and contributor 
input on these and other enhancements.

I will send out a Hangout link to this mailing list a few minutes before 
the meeting.  The general theme for the meeting is:  a) Q&A about 
Zookeeper; b) Plans for ECF 3.8.0 (planned release date to be set, 
etc).  Here's the agenda...please add things if you have them (we may 
not get to everything...but that's how we have to roll). [3].
