We would be happy to receive/define new/other features as you suggest, but since we are only days away from what will be our final Kepler build, everything will have to actually happen after Kepler is completed.

Rather than use the bug below, it would be better if you were to attach any new/other features to a new bug that I've just created:  https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=409787

We can use this bug for discussion about deployment use cases that people have, and what alternative feature structures might be.

You are quite right...this is a bug (not including the presence API in remoteservices sdk feature).

I've created bug: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=409777

Hopefully I will be able to get a fix for this in place very shortly.

Incidently...I/we've known for some time that we need to refactor our feature structure...to make consumption easier for some use cases (e.g. for server side/remote services).   Hopefully we will be able to get to this feature refactoring after Kepler.
