[ecf-dev] ECF 3.5.2 - Aug 29th?

Hi Folks,

In a previous posting...along with a couple of ECF conference calls, I 
had proposed Aug 29 2011 for ECF's 3.5.2 maintenance release.  I would 
like to assume that we can do this, but I want to verify that a couple 
of the significant bugs are addressed.

Here are the bugs fixed since ECF 3.5.1/Indigo release [1] .

Following are the outstanding bugs that I think we should try to address 
for ECF 3.5.2:

[2] Hang in zookeeper discovery
[3] JMDNS Discovery thread slowing down shutdown (this is a bug in JMDNS 
upstream project...not in ECF provider that builds upon it).

Of course, if there are other committers and/or contributors that wish 
to work on other remaining bugs for 3.5.2 here [4] is a full list of 
outstanding bugs.

I think particularly 2 would be good to address.  Wim and other 
zookeeper provider authors...do you think that 2 can/could be addressed 
and tested before Aug 29th?

The reason Aug 29th is important is that the Indigo maintenance release 
is in mid-september, and we will need to have our maintenance release in 
place before then in order to have ECF 3.5.2 be in the Indigo 
maintenance release.
