Ah. I had understood that ECF maintains a number of things outside eclipse.org (not necessarily just examples)

This is what we have done with a number of contributions previously (i.e. made them available for testing/review/improvement/comment/usage, etc while going through the IP approval process), and unless Pavel objects I think we should do this with these examples also. We were actually going just for EDL with Toast but for legal reasons I cannot recall right now we ended up going dual. It may have related to some bits of other eclipse projects that we had copied or something. Anyway, if EDL is there then people are quite free to get the code, bash and put it in their apps. Seems like a good thing as that's the point of examples.
