Sounds very interesting, although perhaps it could appear a bit like 
rocket science to the uninitiated.

Is this functionally equivalent to 'Domain Sockets'? A 'Domain Channel' 
if you want to use nio speak?

This sounds very exciting in an OSGi context, but I suppose that's true 
for all aspects of IPC; it introduces communication modes with the 
native environment, which boast a very enticing feature set.

Anyway, I'm still working on that Java IPC roadmap proposal.
