[ecf-dev] Re: ECF repository move happening 9/30
|
Hi All,
Thanks to the great work of the EF webmasters, the move of the
repository is complete.
It will take a short while for Ted and I to move the automated build
over to the new repo, and there are lots of web pages to update, but I
thought I would let everyone know that you can now access the new ECF
codebase via CVS at:
dev.eclipse.org:/cvsroot/rt/org.eclipse.ecf
I've changed over the two project set files (one for committer/extssh
access and one for anonymous access) so what you can do to get the
latest of ECF is retrieve the following project:
<ecf module>/releng/org.eclipse.ecf.releng
Then from within this project import the projectSet-extssh.psf
(committers) or projectSet-anonymous.psf (read only).
Committers note: the old repo at /cvsroot/technology, although still
there (of course), has been made read-only and so will no longer accept
commits. Another note: If you find errors/omissions/etc please make
them known at https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=246012
thanks...and thanks for additional patience as we get all the docs
changed over (this will take some time). If you have access and can
help with this (changing over the references in website docs and wiki),
please do so.

Hi Folks,
I've gotten word that the ECF CVS repository move to the runtime project
CVS area will occur tomorrow (Sept 30th) sometime in the afternoon
eastern time. See this bug for details:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=246012
So please be aware of your own check ins, etc for tomorrow and
subsequent days. The old repository will remain available, but soon we
will all have new cvs paths to use for ECF.
Also, BTW...next ECF conference call will be next Tues, October 7. See
the wiki page here:

Thanks,
