I tried again today :
- with Update Manager - failed, same message as previous comment
- with normal download with IE/Firefox - download stop itself at 2.8 MB for 
SDK variant and at 5.2 MB for Runtime variant of CDT.

Did you checked the size of org.eclipse.cdt.doc.user_3.0.0.jar ?

Can you send me by e-mail the CDT Runtime variant ?
