GSOC is generally off stream from our mainline Eclipse deliverables. I wouldn’t worry about that. Any work feeds into next year’s Eclipse release.

Sorry for your loss. The deadline for gsoc is approaching quick. Get your proposal in and it’ll get reviewed with the other Eclipse proposals. I’m not sure how many students we’ll be allocated, so I can’t promise anything.
