Re: [cdt-dev] suggestion for enhancement
|
Hi,
(Dave is away till Monday)...Anyway, if you have the CDT installed you
should get the "Hosts" perspective. You will probably have to goto "Other"
from the first Open Perspective Menu. If it is not there, can you take a
look at your .log file to see if there was an exception thrown while
loading one or more of the CDT plugins (if exceptions were thrown the .log
file will appear in workspace/.metadata/.log). If there is no .log file
can you do the following from inside Eclipse:
- Goto the Help Menu
- Select "About Eclipse ..."
- On the Dialog that comes up, choose "Plugin Info..."
- Verify that the following plugins appear:
org.eclipse.cdt.cpp.ui
org.eclipse.cdt.dstore.core
org.eclipse.cdt.dstore.hosts
- Verify that the version numbers of these plugins match the version of
Eclipse you are using...So if you are using R1 Eclipse, the plugins should
be version 1.0.0, and if you're using R2, they should be 2.0.0.
Thanks...
Jeff.

Please respond
to cdt-dev
Dave,
Thanks for the response,
How do I get the hosts perspective? It doesn't appear in the
list of available perspectives.
Chris
