Re: [app4mc-dev] Submit a proposal for eclipse foundation

Dear Rehan Jananga,

I'm interested to work with Topic 4: Task visualizer and Topic 5 : CPU-GPU Response time and mapping analysis. But i couldn't find how to submit a proposal. If you can help in that manner i 'll appreciate it more.
The proposal is typically submitted at the official GSoC Site: https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/

You'll find more detailed instructions on how to submit a proposal here: https://google.github.io/gsocguides/student/writing-a-proposal#submit-a-draft-proposal-early

And i did few changes in repository. But i didn't understand the task fully. Please check it too.My github repository link for  LoadModifySaveExample.java: https://github.com/rehanj/APP-MC . Thank you !
Your task is to develop a tiny java-application that prints some of those model details to either a GUI or Console, e.g. the number of Runnables or Tasks in the Software Model and the Processing Units in the Hardware Model. You'll find a documentation about the AMALTHEA Data Models here and typical examples of models here. There is also an example model within the input folder of the Java Example you created.

I suggest you read through the documentation and finish your code to realize the stated behaviour.

Best regards

Lukas

PS: Please refrain from sending mail-reminders.

Dear Rehan Jananga,

thanks for your interest in GSoC and APP4MC!
There are currently five topics (ideas) that we think fit great to a GSoC application:
https://wiki.eclipse.org/Google_Summer_of_Code_2019_Ideas#Eclipse_APP4MC

I suggest to have a closer look at the ideas and directly get in touch with the possible mentor.
A generic reference that is helpful for any topic is https://www.eclipse.org/app4mc/help/app4mc-0.9.3/index.html.

Please let us know if you need any further directions.

Best regards,
Robert
