Re: [wtp-releng] Compile error with org.eclipse.jpt.common.utility

Hi Shane,

Thanks, I had not realized javax.jws was available in Orbit. We have Orbit declared and it should be pulling down dependencies so I'm not sure why it was not pulling down this particular one in this case. Perhaps it does have to do with the "Import-Package" line but to be honest I'm not entirely sure.

I reverted the BREE back to J2SE-1.5 and added the following to the pom to make Tycho require the javax.jws bundles at build time. This seems to have made it happier. I guess I will move forward with this solution then.

With that said I have successfully built WTP with the latest master branches. I had to touch all repos with pom changes to update versions and such so I will be posting the new patches sometime tomorrow.

Thanks again,

Thanh

Hi Thanh,

Both those bundles use import-package for their javax.jws dependency resolution.

That dependency should be satisfied by the presence of the javax.jws 2.0.0 bundle from Orbit with the BREE still set to J2SE-1.5

Is that bundle in the build or is there a problem with using import-package for dependencies?

Thanks,
Shane
