Just to note that it would be very nice to set a value to the Target Milestone field. For two reasons:

  1) it is required by the PMC approval process :-)

  2) the bug will be listed in the web page that displays all bugs waiting for approval, which increases significantly the chance of the bugs to be reviewed:

Could someone from the PMC please 
review and approve the following validation framework defects: 

1) Validator disabled under false pretenses

- This is a very safe fix, as it just 
removes a check. The bug has been reported by several people. 

2) [validation] Invalid error 
message from org.eclipse.wst.validation.internal.FilterUtil.getFileDelta 
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=122960 

- This is another very safe fix. The code 
was logging a message to the .log, when it should had been. The fix simply stops 
that. 

3) File filters not working 
correctly https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=231207 

- This is serious bug that needs to be 
fixed. There is currently an incompatible difference between the way validation 
filters are registered through the extension point and by the users through the 
preference page.
