RE: [wtp-releng] Adding JUnits to the automated WTP build..

Any committer should be able to tag and release the releng.wtpBuilder and build.cfg.   So, sounds like a good plan.  The earlier the better!

RE: [wtp-releng] Adding JUnits to the automated WTP build..

Hi John,

I would like to do a test build to verify the fix for the failing JUnits that I tried to add last week. I have added the test suites to the test.xml file. I am now going to version releng.wtpbuilder and then update and release build.cfg file.  I am assuming I have the right permissions to do this. Do you see any issues?

This is a little bit tricky.  You need to manually version the releng.wtpbuilder project, then, update the releng/maps/build.cfg file to match that version.  Then, release the build.cfg file.  This will trigger a build with the updated releng.wtpbuilder.

Let me know if you need help, or want me to do this for you.

Thanks,

Hi David,

I have added the junits to the test.xml file and still don’t see the tests being run. Do we need to release this change?

Hi,

The  wiki page,
WTP_Adding_JUnits ,  was very useful in debugging the problem we had in executing new tests. The last section in the doc, WTP test.xml, has steps to update the test.xml file in the wtpBuilder. I am not able to locate this file. Is this still required?
