Hi John. David,

I have updated the test.xml in the releng.wtpbuilder/distribution/wtp.tests folder. Please release this change.

The Dali critical bug (184886) has been fixed and is now being released.

John,

We are working on the critical Dali bug and hope to have it checked in by noon, but it may run a little longer.  I would like to release the fix for the I-Build if possible.  Also, not sure, but we might be part of the cause of one of the releng test failures, given that we released a doc plugin this week, which would have changed the number of plugins in the build.

I'll send an update on the bug fix around noon.

Well, I don't think we are ready for smoke testing yet...

In the latest I build, http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/committers/drops/R2.0/I-I200705100646-200705100646/

There are:

2 compile errors in web service explorer.

3 JSF JUnit errors

2 Releng test JUnit errors

5 Blocker bugzillas open against RC0  (3 J2EE, 1 web service, 1 JSF)

4 Critical bugzillas open against RC0 (3 J2EE, 1 Dali)

Could the offending components please comment on these issues and if a respin is required, when the fixes will be ready?

Please recall this week's I Build  will be a basis for our testing next week and RC0 shutdown.

There are 3 JUnit failures in JSF that need to be resolved.

I want to try and get the M7 declared versions of EMF and GEF or as close as we can get to them before we declare.  So, I am holding off smoke tests for now.

There are also 8 blockers or criticals targeted for M7/RC0.  These should really be resolved before we start testing and for sure, before RC0 is declared.  Otherwise, they need to be triaged accordingly and perhaps severity lowered if applicable.  FYI - 7 of these are J2EE and 1 is Dali.

I will send a follow up note tommorrow with specifics about which build to test and hopefully some of the blockers and JUnit errors will be resolved.

Thanks,
