[wtp-releng] WTP 2.0 M5 I Build Smoke Test Request

Hey guys,

Well, as David alluded to, there are 86 JUnit failures, but here is the build to start smoke testing:

http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/committers/drops/R2.0/I-I200702150450-200702150450/

We need to start assessing impact and the worst areas to focus on. The build infrastructure itself will continue to be explored for bugs that might be causing some of the problems, (such as https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=174297).  However, some of the problems might be due to released code or other legitamate M5 issues, and we need to flush these out.  So, start smoke testing, opn bugs, and report feedback.

Thanks,

[wtp-releng] Ready to try again?

I was having pretty good local luck with an M5 based build (with an M5 based builder, and changes to avoid startup.jar),
so I am going to promote to our build.eclipse.org builds.

I'll admit there were 117 JUnit's still failing locally, but then I saw there were 86 failures on eclipse.org ... so .... it's going to be a long night
for somebody!
