Re: [wtp-releng] WTP Build error, Could not create task or type of type: eclipse.fetch

Following Naci's notes (about using an SDK eclipse, instead of basebuilder project) helped me to get a 'local build' working ... but still failed when it went to run the JUnit tests.
I've opened two bugs recently on the build process, as below. You might follow those, and/or open your own. [And, note to community ... anyone else who's dong their own builds are welcome
to comment on these bugs, open your own bugs, or in general comment on what you've found good or bad about the build process].

We definitely plan to make this easy to re-produce, and update the documentation for how to build locally. (It will probably be a couple of weeks before done -- and in fact will be a long term, steady effort
to improve -- so let us know, or open a "blocking" bug, if something's holding you back).

Hi,

Just wondering how it goes and if there is or will be an updated document
that I could follow to build and run tests.

Thanks,
