Yes, we have listed Facelet support as a 'Proposed' item for WTP 3.0, http://wiki.eclipse.org/Web_Tools_Platform_Release_3.0_Requirements#JavaServerFaces_.28JSF.29_Tools_.28JST_and_WST.29

Please continue to comment on the bug, https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=192393 or create new bugzilla enhancement requests as appropriate.
