Re: [ufk-dev] Terminating UFaceKit-Project

Hi Tom,

I woulk like tell you a big Thanks. Indeed I have learned a lot by contributing to UFaceKit and I'm happy because my projects like JFace DOM Databinding, Eclipse E4 CSS engine that I have developed with UFacekit (for my old TK-UI project) are now little used. It was a real pleasure to work with you.

Regards Angelo

Hi UFaceKit followers,

I've been think about this since some time already but I think we need
to face reality that UFaceKit is not going nowhere as of now - not
because the idea is not good and the stuff we delivered e.g. Eclipse
Databinding Support for Swing, ... but because of the lack of time we
all have to face.

I'd suggest to schedule a termination review. The code is public domain
so one is free to fork e.g. on github (I may add a master repo to my
github account).

Though UFaceKit didn't ever got into a state where it was useable for
use in a production environment some of our ideas, code, ... has been
used e.g. inside Eclipse 4.x.

Tom
