Re: [udig-dev] Using uDig-platform as child module

For sure! UDig is initial designed as an SDK to integrate (also parts of it) into existing RCP applications.
A demo/ default application has been setup and can be downloaded [1]
In addition a custum application. Tutorial is also available [2]

SMART - Spatial Monitoring and Reporting Tool [3] uses several modules and make a RCP product out of it (Birt reporting, uDig, etc) You may also have a look at the gallery section [4] to see few case studies and real world applications which uses bundles and features provided by udig project.

Hello colleagues,

Can uDig-platform sources be used as child Maven Tycho module to combine it with custom plugins/product?
Does someone used uDig in that way to achieve crosplatform builds?
I'm integested in how this structure can be built on Maven Tycho.

Thanks, Ivan
