Hi,

I followed that tutorial and I did exactly the same as you.
Set as target platform the udig-sdk and the delta-pack(in the 
screenshot is shown as "eclipse"). The first time I launched udig from 
net.refractions.udig plugin, like the sdk quickstart says.

Platform used: 
kubuntu_9.04_x86
java_1.6.0.16
