[udig-devel] How to render ECW format

Hi All !

 

I found that uDig provides support for ECW raster format

I have udig-sdk version 1.2M3 and ECW 3.3 libraries(libecwjp2-3.3)
After building ECW library I have the following dlls as well as coresponding lib files

 

NCScnet.dll
NCSEcw.dll
NCSUtil.dll
NCSEcwC.dll

 

I kept those Dlls & lib inside JRE lib
Now when I am trying to add  ECW file(e.g. RgbSample.ecw) layer but adding layer application stops

 

Anyone please tell me
1. how to render a ECW layer
2. For udig-sdk 1.2M3 which ECW version is required?
3. Where to keep those required libraries?
