Hi Eric,
could you provide us an original shapefile with .prj for this projection?
I have some doubts about it since it seems not to be supported in the
EPSG list... very strange!

As I mentioned this is the projection used for EU datasets but from my
experience OS software (OpenJump, ogr, etc.) doesn't seem to use it
with success. (very few references in Google)
