RE: [udig-devel] code sprint, road map and summer of code

Hey guys,

Been working away verifying and closing issues for the code sprint, I started an issue but have to leave :( if someone could take up the challenge and continue, that would be great! http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/UDIG-1102.

I have attached my work as an SVN diff to the JIRA issue but it's mostly one small block of code which could be copied into your working version easily.

Sorry I have to love you and leave you, but I will do another verify and close round on Monday 16th to help finalise things. It's been fun!

Happy Trails!

John

Subject: [udig-devel] code sprint, road map and summer of code

Todays IRC meeting was mostly informal - getting ready for the code
sprint tomorrow.

CODE SPRINT TOMORROW

I have updated the road map with instructions for testers:

It provides a nice breakdown of what is going on; all generated from Jira.

Andrea has also prepaired a page on how to create a patch for a Jira
issue using just the SDK release (this is a great way for new
developer on the project to get involved - many of the bugs
highlighted for this weekend are very quick - like removing a println
statement)

GOOGLE SUMMER OF CODE

One thing we did not getting around to talking about was the google
summer of code project this year; Wolf would really like feedback on
this page:

The ideas page for this year is here:

Which links to our own ideas page:

If you can help out on this stuff so much the better.
