This looks great - I am one of those who tried and then gave up with all 
the EMF stuff (because of having a short timeframe)! I have several 
potential ProjectElements which I'm displaying/managing in separate 
views at the moment which would be much better included in the project view.

Is this going to be included in the 1.1 branch?
