*What am I up to:*
- merge improvement: the merge dialog was moved to "Merge View";  Map feedback 
when the user select a feature in the Merge View and different interaction 
techniques to select the features to merge.
- proposal to transform geometry features between layers: use cases / screen 
shots 
- internal testing.
- uDig 1.1.0 tested: Edit tool (we found some bug in linux distribution, on 
windows it look right. Is needed more test to confirm the problem)

*Tasks on my plate:*

- acceptance test (by user).
- Architectural spike: transform geometry features between layers 
- analyse data copy between existent features.
- Refactoring: simplify the ui component in spatial operations framework
- analyze possibles new spatial operation for next release

*Impediments (What's holding me up):*
