Windows XP; JDK 1.6, Udig 1.1 RC 14.

I'd need to check the graphics card (I'm  on another computer now). I've
also seen this on an older computer (also wind xp). It's a more or less
harmless problem, but it looks like the rendering is being done twice:
once on the dirty canvas and then again on the map view.
