[udig-devel] Problems using the NOAA WFS Server

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

I cannot get uDig to work with this server. Has someone got uDig to work with this yet? The URL is at:

http://www.weather.gov/forecasts/xml/OGC_services/ndfdOWSserver.php?SERVICE=WFS&Request=GetCapabilities

 

and the document that explains how to get ArcCatalog and ArcMap to use it is at: http://www.weather.gov/mdl/XML/Design/WFS_example.htm

 

I have tried to get uDig to work with this WFS both from home and at work (here I have set up a proxy server in uDig to go through the government's proxy server) but have had errors in both cases. uDig can connect and shows a layer from the WFS but won't draw and it displays an error message as shown in the attached graphic of a screen capture of uDig. I am using uDig 1.1.0RC10a.
