[udig-devel] [jira] Created: (UDIG-1224) oracle spatial rendering problem

oracle spatial rendering problem
--------------------------------

                 Key: UDIG-1224
                 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/UDIG-1224
             Project: uDIG
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: oracle
    Affects Versions: UDIG 1.1.RC9
         Environment: Quad Opteron Server: Oracle9.2.0.4 64bit, Fedora Core
Client: Windows XP, ojdbc14.jar for Oracle9.2.0.4
uDig-Plugin Version 1.1.0 Build id: 20070201-1+;
Eclipse RCP Version: 3.2.1.r321_v20060801-2ekW2BxmcpPUOoq Build id: M20060921-0945
            Reporter: Andreas Schild
         Assigned To: Jody Garnett

After installing the right Oracle Driver "ojdbc14.jar" (in my case for Oracle9.2.0.4), it was no problem to import the Oracle Spatial layer to uDig.
But the layer are not drawn in the map - it seems to be a rendering problem:
("Exception rendering layer DefaultMapLayer[ Test, VISIBLE, style=StyleImpl<NO_PARENT>[ name=Default Styler, data==org.geotools.data.jdbc.JDBCFeatureSource@1e5ed7b, query=Query: [Request All Features]").

I also noticed, that the coordinate system which was defined in Oracle was not "accepted?" by uDig.
